The Illinois Chapter of the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) exists to help local communities, schools and private sector organizations develop effective leaders for today’s diverse world. Our NCBI trainers work in multicultural teams to empower others to end mistreatment, eliminate discrimination, prevent school violence and bullying, and build bridges across group lines in the workplace, community and local organizations.
NCBI-Illinois can provide in-depth training customized for your organization. Our workshops are experiential rather than solely informational, and are conducted in a safe and supportive climate.
Typical training settings include high schools, universities, corporations, public safety agencies, community agencies, government offices, labor unions and religious communities. We can work with groups, both internal and external to your organization, to help resolve conflict and build coalitions and consensus around controversial issues.
